Update: Lots of News

This is an update of our current situation. Things are looking up for the first time in a while.
We tried to make another video yesterday but we had a power cut and the computers went down, so the cameras were damaged by the power surge. I doubt it was anything to do with the Order but the power surge was localised.
The software that Lee stole, it's not well and truly with the Order so we're reluctant to broadcast anything for a while even if we get new cameras. But we tried to get it, sent Baron and Snake to London to recover it but since the Watcher took it we're withdrawing back here.
We saw Watchers in Belfast a few days ago. Turns out a Hymn of One centre has opened up in the city. About a mile from where we are. I dunno if that gives away where we are but it doesn't matter, I'm pretty sure people know now anyway.
BUT we have some good news. A shipment of weapons came in from...well I'm not going to say where but we have enough to equip a small army. Which is what we have.
ALSO we managed to recover what files we could from the Watcher's laptop, despite all the damn seawater. We have maps of what we think are locations of trait positive girls.
Only thing is we don't have enough men to cover every location so we'll need help.

Game. Set And Match

We caught up with the Watcher a few miles outside of Belfast.
He's dead.
Need proof? Fine:
Here you go.
Only thing is, the entire government is after us now. Apparently the SOB was the personal friend of a politician. A high ranking one. It's hard trying NOT to look like terrorists when going after a politician.
We'll have to move fast.

Thursday 25 October 2007

Oh dear. Oh dear indeed.

We hadn't planned on telling anyone this until tomorrow, when it was supposed to be over.
But we had captured a Watcher, in retaliation for Dudley's death.
We had planned to execute him as such.
But he's gone. Just like Carl before.
I don't think we have another infiltration, but this doesn't look good at all.
We're going to find him. And we're going to kill him and anyone he has spoken to.
I hope they get the message.

Hiatus Ended

Things have been tight the last month or so, both with finances and information. Ie: we have neither of each. Although our numbers are increasing again, we have a number of new operatives that have passed the test. (The one we didn't put Switch through.)
We're still trying to locate Monark. One of our overseas associates who shall remain unnamed reported a sighting of Monark in Buenos Aires, but we can't verify that for sure.
Either way he's still missing, I just hope he and the others are alright.
Things with Kate are getting more than interesting. We haven't heard anything from the Londonists in a few weeks, but then again things are tight everywhere. The Order has infiltrated even the highest echelons of the government (No pun intended), and are using the Police to crackdown on us. They're using the War on Terror as an excuse to arrest us en masse and label us as 'domestic terrorists' like they did with Irish Nationalists and Communists.
That's it for now, you'll know more when we do.

Interesting

It seems that Monark isn't as gone as the Order would have hoped.
We got that video in our inbox today shortly after lunchtime.
Maybe it'll let the sons of bitches know we aren't as easily squashed as some bugs.

The Slate Has Been Cleaned

Monark, Switch, Finch, Jared.
They're all gone now. It's just me and Baron and Encore. Left to pick up the pieces. So I guess that makes me the new boss of StormFaction, or what's left of it anyway.

We have no weapons, no money, no contact with any resistance groups. We're fighting blind, if we decide to start fighting again at all.

Monark was flawed in his vision. He was always running, ducking and diving. He never took the Order head on like he should have.

Never did anything big. It was only a matter of time before they found him and the rest of us.

I think I'll enjoy watching the Order burn.
Yes. I think I really will.

Me

Considering I won't be around for a while, I've decided to tell you who I am and my story. Because if the Order know then there's no point in hiding it anymore.

My name is Jack Doherty. I was born on the 12th of January, 1984.
I was once a member of the Hymn of One, so were my parents, my two older brothers. And my younger sister. Evelyn.
I grew up in an urban district just outside of Drogheda and that's where my parents first started getting into the workings of the HoO. My father became a Deacon, and at first I didn't know what that was, but now I know all too well. My mother was equally as obsessed with the religion and she brainwashed us day in and day out, but it wasn't until they came for Evey that I woke up to what was going on. She was sixteen years old when they came for her.
My brothers professed innocence and claimed it was for a greater good. But she was terrified. I tried fighting with them and arguing with my parents. But it did no good.
The Order took her. And the Order killed her.
I tried to avenge her as best as I could. Only nineteen years old when she died. I took my father's gun and shot him. I hated him for what he had done, for what he had let them do to her.
Evelyn screamed and begged for him to let her go, to take her home to her mother and family as they drained the life out of her on that table.
So I killed him. And I ran. And I kept running for what seemed like a lifetime, from city to city, trying to avoid being seen or caught. That was when I met the Resistance, and Switch and Echelon and the others. We all had been jilted by the Order in some way.
Echelon lost his home, Silver lost his mother. Switch...well she lost nothing. Lying bitch.
But I guess it's all history now. We made contact with other Resistance groups around the world and established a plan over the last 3 years to take down the Order here.
And then LonelyGirl15 came onto the scene and the world saw what was happening. We thought they would wake up and the Order was finished. But it didn't work out that way.
Bree died and now they have a new girl. Kate, in London. And because of Switch we're as good as dead.
So I guess this is it from me. Wish me luck and I hope to get back to Ireland as soon as I can.
But I fear that might be longer than I can bear and I'll get myself killed.
It has been a pleasure, my friends.
Monark out.

Counterbleed

Alright, so the Order knows who and what we are now.
Switch was a spy. She killed Carl for telling us what he knew before leaving.
She told them everything about us.
Names, family, jobs, what we look like, where we lived. Basically we can't go anywhere anymore or they'll find us. So, as of midnight tonight, we're going to split up and go our separate ways.
I know it sounds like we're giving up, but we have to disband for the meantime until we can come up with a strategy. We're not leaving the city, we're leaving the continent. Or at least I am.
Baron and Echelon are going to keep this blog up and running and give updates on the situation from now on, so any broadcasts will be from them as of tonight.
We have some friends that are going to help us get out under the cover of darkness, basically.
We failed Bree, we failed Kate, we failed Wasp and Silver and everyone.
The Order has won the war here in Ireland. There's no resistance anymore here, but hopefully the Londonists can come up with some kind of plan to help us.
Belfast, Derry, Cork, Dublin, Galway and Limerick are the six vantage points that we need to take back if we are to be successful. But it won't happen for a very long time.
I only hope that I get to see my friends again.
That I get to see my daughter again.

Oh God I hope we make it through the night.

Status Report

Carl is dead, or so we think.
Switch is gone, too. We discovered that they had been missing for some hours when we returned to the base. Signs of a struggle were everywhere, along with some blood and a note left by Carl.

'My death has been the one thing real in my life. Now feel the hammer of the Hymn.'

We don't know what that means, but we now know that he was indeed working for the HoO, we got that out of him a few days ago, along with info on the girl here. Turns out that they already got to her. We don't know if she's alive or dead, but she went willingly. Our efforts have been seriously undermined.
Time to rethink.

Tuesday 21 August 2007

Upping the Game

The Order has killed a doctor in Carnaby Street, London. We believe he had vital information as to the Order's plans for the girl in London and her significance to the Order's intentions.
So they've killed someone, I'm not suprised.
We have some good news, or bad news. Depends on who's reading this.
The good news is, we've gotten our hands on an operative for the Order. Says his name is Carl and that he's a computer technician at the Belfast University. And that he has no idea who we are, what the Order is, or what we're talking about.
Guess what, we don't believe him. So we're going to try and extract some information from him as best we can without hurting him. And then we'll start hurting him.
We hate killing people, but if it comes to it then we'll do it.
Again. we don't know when we'll be able to post again but keep an eye out.
Peace out.

Uncertainty

We don't know what the situation is as our communications with other Resistance groups is virtually non existant. Though we do know that the girl here has gone on holiday for the summer with her family, which should give us some time to work out a strategy without the pressure of the Order breathing down her neck.
She's not a member of the Hymn Of One to the best of our knowledge, but her friends are. We have to try and split them up and get her away from them. If they're working for the Order that is.
But we can't make a move for the next few weeks or else we'll raise a lot of red flags in the system.
Hacking into their affiloated networks is a no-no, as is making any kind of move in public.
We can't use Internet Cafe's anymore, we think they have them tripped. So we've set up a makeshift server here in Baron's den to broadcast from.
We're in the dark, people.

Saturday 18 August 2007

BACK ONLINE

Alright, it took some doing but we're back up and running.
We have confirmation that the girl in England is indeed trait positive,. Which means she's in serious danger, but there's nothing we can do other than see what happens. The Londonists are working on it as we speak.
As for the girl hee, well we've temporarily lost track of her and we need to find her ASAP before the Order do. Otherwise we will have failed.
We have acquired a substantial sum of money, weapons and information from an anonymous funder that Echelon got in touch with. Baron and Encore have been incredibly helpful as regards food and a place to stay. For security reasons we can't tell you where we are, or where I'm posting from, but we can tell you that our posts will be short and sparse from here on in and that you can expect a broadcast soon.
Monark out.

Tuesday 14 August 2007

OFFLINE

We have to go underground for a few days and initiate radio silence for the forseeable future.
We'll try and get a broadcast up and running ASAP and get back online sharpish. Things are just too dangerous now. The Order is everywhere.
Don't try and contact us, don't make any kind of movement until you get word from either us or LaRezisto.

If you don't hear from us within the week then we're either dead or they have us.
If that happens, emergency protocols will be activated and the Resistance here will be effectively terminated until someone comes along and picks up the pieces.

RESIST.
STAY SAFE
God Help Us.

-Monark

Taking It Easy

We've made contact with Baron and Encore, but we're going to try and lay low for a few days until we can think of a plan of attack. There's no point in trying to initiate any kind of manouevre with a handful of operatives. It's just plain suicidal.
We have managed to establish a network of contacts through Bebo. Hopefully we can keep an eye on Steve and see what he's up to. I've already tried warning Kate, Gavin and Tariq, but it looks like we'll have to make a broadcast soon or it may fall on deaf ears.
We're still trying to locate this new girl that The Order have in Belfast, hopefully Bebo will give us some clues. Echelon's gonna keep an eye on our homepage and see what crops up.

We've established contact with LaRezisto.
The European network looks to be back online again.
Whatever happened must have been dealt with.
Stay safe.

Update

We're still alive.
Just about

Monday 13 August 2007

On The Move

It looks like we got out just in time.
The Order found where we had been hiding and sent in a strike team. But they didn't find anything. We had downloaded as much information from the computers and taken as many samples and papers as we could before burning everything.
But just to make sure they know we mean war, Switch set a timer up before we left to be activated if anyone came near the base. A 'proximity detonator' or something. Must have taken them all out, the ones inside anyway.
Well we're on the run. I'm posting this from an internet cafe in Belfast. We've moved back North and are going to try and make contact with the Resistance up here. They've gone underground but we have a fair idea of where they might be. I'm not going to say here for obvious reasons.
Alright, we have to move. We think we're being followed.
If I don't post again by tomorrow then you know the score.

News

Everything's gone offline. The entire Resistance network on the Western European seabord has gone down.
IRC, MSN, even our radio and telephones have been knocked out. But we have news of a trait positive girl that The Order is after.

Here, in Ireland.

We need to find out who and where she is before the Order do. We can't make a move until we know everything or risk blowing our cover, but we can't wait too long or it'll be like Bree all over again. We only have contact with my brother, Xarr and I've told him to get as far away as possible. We're losing agent after agent by the second. Obviously Phase 1 might not live to see the light of day after all, nevermind Phase 2.

They definetely got the jump on us.
We've failed to get the upper hand.
I just hope our other hand is able to land a punch soon.

Oh no

I don't know if you're reading this.
But Titan, they know where you are. I don't know how because we sure as hell can't find you.
But they know.

Run.

I hope to God you're alive.
We need you.

It's War

Gemini is dead.

The Order knows where we are.
They're coming for us.

==PHASE 1 INITIATED==

Derrida

We got word an hour ago from the Londonists that Wasp is dead.
Echelon hasn't been able to contact any of Wasp's team in Seattle, all we got was a recorded voice message from Silver, Wasp's second in command.

"It's over for us, here. There was a bug. Be careful. Silver."

Our affiliates in Melbourne and Calcutta told us that they got the same message when they tried contacting them. For all we know, they've been captured or are on the run.

We don't know who the bug is, or if they're still active, it may even have been Wasp himself. So we're not taking any chances. It seems strange that we lost contact with Wasp around the same time as we lost contact with Orion and Gemini, and also the same time that The Order seems to be moving in on a trait positive girl in London.

We think Orion and Gemini have been taken.

So we're severing contact and moving our operations further south. Our allies in the North near Belfast have gone underground for the time being, at least until the emergency passes and we can figure out what to do next. Phase 1 has been effectively abandoned for the time being until we can regroup.

Things still don't look good. The Order is closing in the net.

I can't find Titan anywhere. I could use his help right now.

Technical Error

We've hit a snag in the opening stages of Phase 1.
It seems that Wasp, Gemini and Orion have all gone offline. We can't seem to raise them on any channels. IRC, YouTube, even over the phone. If we can't get any word from them then planning our next move is gonna be difficult as we're more or less blind as to what the Order knows and doesn't know about what we're doing.
The GOOD news is that the Londonists, our counterparts on the mainland, are still operational, along with some of our affiliates in the North of Ireland, namely Encore and Baron. So we still have some kind of a net to work with, albeit smaller.
We just hope we hear from the others soon enough, or our initial plans might fail before we even put them into operation. We can't access the grid without Wasp's help in Seattle. And we have no idea where he is.
It doesn't look good at all.

Saturday 11 August 2007

Contact Lost

We've received word that Linc D and Rachel may have been captured by OpAphid. We've henceforth severed contact with them. To protect our own interests. We're not sure where they are but we have an idea, Wasp7, our liason with Linc D is locating them as we speak. If he finds them, he has the authority to neutralise them. But I hope it doesn't come to that.
Stand by for further word.

First Strike

Gemini and Orion, our contacts within the Order in Oxford has confirmed that the Elders are planning something big here, we think maybe they either know where we are, know what we're up to, or have found another trait positive girl near here.
Either way, we're not taking any chances. Switch and Echelon are going to iniate Phase 1 as soon as possible. For obvious reasons, I can't tell you what that is, but in black and white terms it simply means that hostilities have commenced. Think of this as a pre-emptive strike on our part, we want to hit them as hard and as fast as we can before they can make a move on us.
It can go either way for us in the coming days and weeks ahead. If we do this right, then we might have a chance of slowing the Order down or stopping them altogether here.
If we fail, well I guess you can pretty much figure out the rest.
For some reason Gemini mentioned the name LaRezisto, kept saying that name was important.
I have no idea what it is, or who it is, but if Gemini and Orion think it's important then on the lookout we shall be.

The Long Game

There's nothing left for it now, the Faction has been activated. The Resistance has fully begun operations and the war against The Order is underway. The message has been delivered, at least we hope so. Whether the Order takes us seriously or not is another thing, but they'll get the message soon enough once we strike.
We're small, but we're determined. It's easy to sacrifice everything when there's nothing left to sacrifice. It's like gambling with no cards. You know you're going to make an impression one way or the other.
Jonas, Daniel and the rest of the Resistance have been warned about the coming war, but whether they trust us or not is again, something to be seen. They have no reason to trust us anyway. As I say, after Bree's death we knew that this was the endgame for either us or the Order.
I just hope we've dealt the right hand.
